American favourite In-N-Out Burger returns to Dubai for one day only
Wristbands required for entry; limited quantities available

DUBAI: In-N-Out Burger has officially made its return to Dubai, opening a pop-up outlet at Ibn Battuta Mall today, Wednesday, April 16.
The one-day-only appearance runs from 10AM to 3PM – or until the highly sought-after burgers are sold out.
The event, hosted at Switch Bowling in the mall’s India Court, is part of Ibn Battuta’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
Limited entry
Entry to the pop-up is regulated through free wristbands, distributed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. These wristbands are essential – no wristband means no burger. Given the overwhelming response to In-N-Out’s previous Dubai appearance in 2021, queues began forming early in the morning, with fans eager to relive the cult-favourite West Coast experience.
The event features a select menu flown in from the United States, including the classic Double-Double, Protein Style lettuce-wrapped burgers, and their world-famous fries. A nod to the brand’s elusive "secret menu" may also be in play, though event organisers have remained tight-lipped.
California classic
Founded in 1948 in Baldwin Park, California, by Harry and Esther Snyder, In-N-Out Burger has grown into an American icon. With over 400 locations primarily in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, and Idaho, the brand is known for its fresh ingredients, no-freezer policy, and tightly controlled expansion. Rare international pop-ups like today’s are met with frenzied enthusiasm from fans abroad.
Dubai previously hosted the brand for a pop-up in 2021, drawing massive crowds. The 2025 iteration is seeing a similar reception, with fans and foodies lining up for a limited taste of California cool. Social media has lit up with photos from the pop-up and excitement from those lucky enough to snag a spot.
Ibn Battuta Mall’s anniversary
The burger event is just one of several activations organised as part of Ibn Battuta Mall’s two-decade milestone. Celebrations include entertainment, live music, and limited-edition giveaways. The choice of In-N-Out as a partner highlights the mall’s efforts to bring unique global experiences to Dubai’s shopping and dining scene.
Located at Parking No. 10 near the India Court, Switch Bowling has been transformed into burger central for the day. The setting not only accommodates large crowds but offers guests the chance to bowl while waiting – or celebrating with burgers in hand.
With the pop-up wrapping up by mid-afternoon, fans have a narrow window to grab a bite of burger history. As always with In-N-Out, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
